Our Story Under the Stars
Hello and welcome! We’re Gary and Barbara, and if it involves a tent, a crackling campfire, and a starry sky, you’ve found your people.
For over two decades, our greatest adventures haven’t been found in fancy hotels, but at the end of a dusty trail. It all started with a borrowed tent and a slightly disastrous (but hilarious) first trip that hooked us for life. Since then, we’ve traded the noise of the city for the sounds of the wilderness, building a lifetime of memories one campsite at a time.
This blog is our campfire, and we’re saving a spot for you. We share hard-earned tips, tried-and-true gear reviews, and our favorite campfire recipes—not as experts, but as fellow enthusiasts who have learned through every rain-soaked tent and perfectly toasted marshmallow.
